Probably not. Insurance companies are in the business of closing claims as cheaply as they possibly can so it is not uncommon for insurance
adjusters to make contact with an injured person as quickly as they can after they
become aware of the claim. Now rarely, if ever, does an insurance adjuster offer full value or their best offer to a person soon after the claim is open. or without the claim being fully developed. Now people have every right to represent themselves, but they also have the right to perform surgery on themselves or perform root canals on themselves Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. The best thing you can do is a least talk to a lawyer. most lawyers don’t charge anything to talk to them about a personal injury claim and see if it’s appropriate to have a
lawyer involved in most cases it is. Insurance adjusters are used to processing claims and if they
can get a claim closed out cheaply by offering it and getting it settled before a lawyer gets involved then they are generally going to want to do that. and usually what is good for that insurance company, is not good for you.
