Hello, this is Troy Gonzales with Good Neighbor Insurance. I’m gonna talk about the Diplomat international travel health insurance. And I’m gonna talk about how to use this travel medical insurance. So, as you’re traveling, whether you’re doing extreme sports, whether you’re traveling to a very dangerous country, or a dangerous place in the world, international travel medical insurance is very important to have. So, how do you use it? First of all, it’s very easy to apply. In fact, there’s a link in the description right below. You can click on that, where you can apply online, you can get quotes. It’s very simple. And also if you wanna see some benefits, you can click the orange brochure button, which looks like this. Once you have a policy, let’s say that you have a claim. Let’s say, for example, you’re in Thailand, you’re seeing Muay Thai, Thai boxing fight. And while you’re there, you’re tired from traveling, there’s a lot of people there, and you end up catching a pretty bad cold. So you go to the doctor, and it turns out to be a sinus infection, so you have antibiotics, and you’re being treated for that, and that’s the end of it. So, very important to gather all the medical records, and all the receipts. So typically you’ll pay out-of-pocket, and then you’ll gather all those records, gather the receipts, keep them all with you, and when it comes time, whenever you have time to turn in the claim, you need to send in the claim form, which is very available. You can get it from the company, you can get it from us as well. So you send in the claim form to the insurance company with all the receipts and the records and they will reimburse you for all covered expenses, after your deductible has been met. And one thing about the deductible, it’s very important to submit claims, because otherwise there’s no record of you paying anything for your deductible. So if you have a $1,000 deductible, & you only have a $500 claim still send that in, because if you have another claim, they may not have a record of your first $500, so that $1,000 still needs to be met before they will pay out. So that’s pretty much how that works, and for things like medical evacuation, or higher expenses, or urgent emergencies, just call the insurance company. They will help you, advise what to do. As far as medical evacuation, they can actually handle that, and take you to the nearest place for adequate care. If you have questions about any of that, or how it works, and if you want any details, anything like that you can definitely ask us. We’re available by email, by skype, or by call. So just give us a call, and let us know if you have questions. And I hope this has been helpful for you to understand how to use the Diplomat international travel medical insurance.
