Hi I’m Dan. I’m going to be showing you some of my favourite spots to explore in the Algarve, Lisbon and Sintra, when you come to Portugal. If you’re looking for a beach holiday with
a bit more adventure then head to Lagos, where you’ve got these stunning caves along the coastline, ideal for kayaking and water sports. You can spend the whole day chilling out on the beach before hitting up the
awesome nightlife in the old town. Now we’re in Silves, which is one of the more historic towns inland in the Algarve. We’re just about to head up to the castle. Ferragudo is traditionally a small
fishing village but over the last couple of years its become really popular for tourist partly because of the great beach with a castle overlooking it, but also because
its still got the fishing boats and small restaurants on the square. It keeps a lot of its charm. If you love surf then head to the west
coast of the Algarve where you’ve got these great breaks, beautiful beaches and best of all
hardly anyone there. One of my favourites is called Bandera, which is just covered in these incredible sand dunes and is an ideal place for a day out. Welcome to Lisbon! The crazy-cool capital of Portugal. Start your day here in the Alfama before heading up to the
castle and then skipping across town to Belém, for cristal de nata and to see the tower. One of the best things about Lisbon is how colourful the streets are, so you can just grab a drink at a stand, take in the sunset, wander the streets, or jump on a tram. However you choose to explore, just take in what this city has to offer. So Sintra is really well known because of its beautiful palaces.
