Hey guys, Dan here, so I’m in Peru now.
It’s been an interesting couple of days, I flew into Chile and spent five hours in
the airport and then made my way to Lima, Peru. Um, I’ve been here all of five minutes
before my card got sucked into a machine, so, I’m already one visa card down, but
I’ve got another one as backup so I’m all good to go still. I’m wondering the
streets at the moment trying to find a Sim card for my iPhone, um, the place apparently
is called Claro. I twice now have asked directions to this place and on both occasions have been
directed to a phone booth on the corner of the road so that’s been interesting, trying
to find this place. I finally did find one of these Claro’s, and um, and now they’re
shut, and I um, I asked someone why it was shut and apparently it’s elections today,
so, well for the next couple of days apparently, so a lot of the shops are shut, just my luck
and also, no alcohol. I can’t have a quiet cerveza to quench my thirst because I guess
they wanna have everyone in a, um, good frame of mind when they’re ticking those boxes,
voting for their favorite person, I guess. So, I’ll be in touch and I’ll let you
guys know how it goes. I’ll speak to you soon. Adios.
