My insurance company gave me
a list of places to get my ride fixed, do I have to use one of the places on that list? No, your insurance company can
have a list of preferred repair shops, but it can’t require you to use any particular shop,
that’s your choice. Oh, Wicked! Actually, I think it might be a little late
to be considering life insurance. (moans) My doctor says I need a transplant,
but my health plan won’t approve it. Is there anything I can do? Yes! Call your health plan
and ask about its appeal process. Most health plans have one. If you’re still not satisfied after the appeal, you may be able to ask to have an
independent review organization look at your case. You can call your insurance company and ask about it. Sounds good. Thanks for your help! Good Luck! I hope you find an organ donor! (moans) I will. I have a guy. (whimpers) Absolutely! Pet insurance is a very real thing. (howls) (grunts) Uh-huh. (grunts) Oh, I bet. (grunts) You know, we may be able to help.
Not all health plans fall under state regulation. There’s an easy way to tell if yours does. Check your health plan ID card.
If it has TDI or DOI on it, then you can file a complaint with us. But it’s always a good idea to
check with your health plan first, and try and work it out. (grunts) Well yes, your insurance does cover blood transfusions, but not for the reasons you’re stating. Did you have a question,
or are you here for some other reason? I worry about getting hurt on the job. I know workers’ comp will take care of any medical bills, but what if I have to take time off? I’ve got little reapers to feed! Whew! Good question! Workers’ compensation also includes income benefits
in cases where your doctor says you can’t return to work because of your injury. Excellent! Happy to help! And you can call our safety violation hotline
to report any unsafe work environment. Thanks so much for your help.
I’ll reschedule next month’s appointment. But we didn’t have…Oh.
