This is Troy Gonzales with Good Neighbor Insurance. I’m going to talk about the GeoBlue Voyager Choice and Essential travel health insurance overseas, and this video is answering the question, “How do we use it?” You have international insurance for a reason. It’s for international protection, but how do you really use it? So the GeoBlue Voyager Choice & Essential travel health insurance overseas – those 2 plans work the exact same. The coverage is a little bit different on both. But for covered expenses this is basically how it works: again it is for U.S. residents rather citizens or not, traveling outside of the U.S. So, let’s say you are traveling, and you’re in Egypt and you get hit by a car and your leg is broken. It’s broken at the ankle, the high ankle, and it really hurts so you go to the hospital and you call the insurance, and they actually don’t have a relationship with the provider there. So you go, you can get the care anyways. You just pay out-of-pocket, and then you gather up all the receipts, all the medical records, and you send them in with the claim forms. The claim form’s available online. We can also send that to you – a simple claim form fill it out. Send it in with the receipts, as well as the medical records and all of the information included. That will really help. The insurance company will reimburse you for all eligible expenses after the deductible has been met, whatever that deductible is. If there’s no deductible, then you get all the money for all the covered expenses back. So that is how that works, and if there are bigger expenses such as surgeries, or medical evacuation, it’s very important to call the insurance company. They will be able to advise you on what to do next. For medical evacuations, they actually have an entire team that they operate with, who arranges and pays for the medical evacuation. On the Voyager International travel health insurance overseas, you have a really really strong plan, really really strong coverage, & it’s very simple to use & I hope you never have to use it. But it is there if you need it! So if you have questions about any of this, you can definitely ask us. A specialist can give you answers, and we also have information online. So here is an example of one page of the brochure. This outlines the coverage, and there’s the 2 bars, which tell you the differences between the Voyager Choice & the Voyager Essential, so really great information available, and there’s also other videos. So you can see that in the description right below, there’s links to all of the other videos. I hope this has been helpful, on how to use this travel health insurance overseas. And like I said, let us know if you have questions.
